From Ideas to Action

I’m what you’d call an “ideas person”.

Not in the corporate buzzword sense, but in the way that my brain never seems to shut up. It’s a swirling mix of mild eccentricity, a bucket of entrepreneurial activity, and a gigalitre of optimism that keeps me sane and insane simultaneously.

I don’t claim to be an expert at anything, but I know a little about a lot. So that’s how the magic happens.

In a previous life as the ‘office lackey in a government office’ I discovered I had a gift for wrangling a borked photocopier into submission like some kind of office whisperer.

I see patterns in a massive mess of paperwork where others only saw narcotic noise. If you describe something to me, I can mentally flip it, rotate it, and deconstruct it before you’ve finished your sentence.

And that curiosity? It’s taken me down some fascinating paths.

I’ve spent 25 years refining my knowledge of HTMLx and CSSx – without a single formal certificate to show for it. But who needs a piece of paper when you can build a website from scratch? I run a window cleaning service website, a Redbubble shop for my digital artwork, and I’m knee-deep in beginning two new art ideas – rock engraving and beach-rope-art.

Why? Because my brain doesn’t do “off.”

Dare To Be More Than You Have Ever Been Before.

I’m the kind of person who wakes up thinking about things that don’t exist yet. Some of my ideas are brilliant (IMHO), some are absurd, and some walk that fine line where genius and disaster shake hands. And enough of them of them make it to my redbubble gallery as yet another idea that might sell to someone who has a similar taste in eccentricity!

Yet that’s the fun of it.

I don’t just generate ideas – I chase them down! I tinker, experiment, and turn them into something tangible. I have a tonne of good ideas. All of them at some level of progress.

My brain is like a 3D modeling program running on caffeine and curiosity. And that’s exactly how I like it.
