Yeah, I have mentioned this before, yet it continues to be the subject that captures my mind.
Smoking is addictive.
Nicotine, a drug in tobacco, makes smokers feel they need to smoke. The more you smoke, the more your body will depend on getting nicotine and you may find yourself hooked. It may be difficult to give up smoking once you are hooked.
However, smoking has serious health impacts.

It can cause lung diseases like chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and lung cancer. It also increases the risk of heart disease, strokes, and various cancers, including those of the mouth, throat, and bladder. Smoking leads to respiratory issues, weakens your immune system, and even harms oral health.
Plus, it speeds up aging and reduces life expectancy. Secondhand smoke is dangerous too, affecting non-smokers around you. With that in mind, why do so many humans continue to hurt their minds, body and spirit with these noxious fumes??
Your smoking can harm others.
Yes, tobacco smoke causes cancer and poisons people. When you breathe in the tobacco smoke, everything from your lungs up to your brain can be seriously harmed. Consequently, your blood is infected. It encircles your body until it finds a way to expel it – if you are lucky. Smoking can increase their risk of lung cancer and heart disease.
What people need to consider most is that this ugly habit does to children.
Smoking when pregnant harms your baby. The many poisons in tobacco smoke reach your baby through the bloodstream. If you smoke when you are pregnant, you greatly increase the chance of having a baby of low birth weight. Smoking may lead to serious complications, which could harm your baby.
If you still continue smoking as your children grow up, they will breathe your smoke. Then they will go on to suffer asthma and long-term chest illnesses.
If you’re ready to quit, here are some tips to help you out.
