Street Photography in 2012

In 2012, I was drawn to the idea of capturing the multi-dimensional views of Adelaide’s inner city architecture through street photography.

My goal was to showcase the intricate relationship between the city’s built environment and the bustling life that unfolds within it. With every photograph, I aimed to transcend the conventional portrayal of cityscapes, delving beyond the walls and facades to reveal the soul of the city.

Adelaide, often hailed as the ‘city of churches’, holds a distinct charm that is often overlooked by many, both locals and international visitors alike. As I delved into my street photography, I was determined to unveil the hidden gems and lesser-known facets of this city, hoping to offer a fresh perspective to those who have yet to experience its allure.

Over the years, my lens has captured the evolution of Adelaide, documenting its essence from 2006 to 2011. As time passed, I witnessed the city transform, adapt, and embrace the changes, all of which I strived to echo through my photographic chronicles.

Here are some of my photographs that capture the spirit of Adelaide, capturing its stories, moments, and nuances that encapsulate its vibrant identity.
