My NEW Affirmations for 2024

In 2024, I’ve come to realize the immense power of embracing a growth mindset.

It’s not always the easiest path to take, but I’ve found it to be absolutely crucial for both my happiness and success ↙. Let me delve a bit deeper into why this shift in thinking can make such a significant impact for anyone looking to improve their life.

Our mindset, essentially how we perceive our abilities and potential, can be divided into two camps: fixed and growth.

  • In a fixed mindset, we tend to believe that our skills and talents are fixed traits that we either have or don’t have.
  • On the other hand, a growth mindset sees abilities as something that can be developed through effort, learning, and perseverance.

When I find myself leaning towards a fixed mindset, I remind myself that I have the power to change. Our brains are incredibly adaptable, and by consistently reinforcing new beliefs and perspectives, we can reshape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

Embracing a growth mindset means taking ownership of my journey and seeing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. It’s about being resilient in the face of adversity, staying persistent when things get tough, and believing wholeheartedly that my efforts will lead to positive outcomes.

Using growth mindset affirmations has been a game-changer for me this year.

By acknowledging negative thoughts and replacing them with positive affirmations, I’ve witnessed a profound shift in my mindset. The daily repetition of these affirmations, especially when said aloud and with conviction, has been surprisingly effective in reinforcing these positive beliefs and reshaping my perspective.

Journaling, by way of blogging here ↙, has also played a significant role in my growth mindset journey.

Writing about my affirmations, my abilities, my successes, and even my depression – all reflecting on my progress plus celebrating successes – has been a constant source of positive reinforcement and motivation.

The Book That Changed My Life - The Official Guide to Success by Tom Hopkins

I also help myself by having daily affirmations that help me stay strong, persistent, successful and ultimately happy.
I have developed these from Tom Hopkins book ‘The Ultimate Guide to Success ‘↗ which I first read in the early 1990’s, but to apply to my daily personal reminders here in 2024!
