My Wife’s Photography

For those who haven’t noticed, my wife is also a keen photographer

She also shoots with a Canon EOS 400D (silver exterior), utilising our full myriad of different lens! As a testimony to her ability, she had uploaded to her redbubble gallery all her pelican photographs from our numerous visits to Kangaroo Island.

John Ayliffe

Every night around 5.00pm this amazing guy feeds the pelicans the rocks near the Kingscote Peir and Penguin Platforms. He puts on a funny spiel and tells the tourists about their amazing birth, flight, plus explains their eating habits – which is the highlight of the show. It’s a true spectacle to behold, with lots of entertainment.
The pelicans always arrive early before the crowd, getting the best position. We now make it a habit to arrive just as the pelicans come flying in around the nearby corner of the island.

Now take a look at my wife’s pelican photographs:

I think she has more photographs of these pelicans. I hope she uploads more from our recent visits.
