Surviving the Drought

I had some fun earlier this evening editing a few ‘wood & sky’ images I had originally uploaded onto my Redbubble gallery about 18 months ago.

They were photographed whilst walking across a farm-yard paddock on a very hot day. Against these deep blue skies, the details of the wood grain upon these trees begged to be photographed.

I’ve now manipulated them a little further with GIMP, giving the sky a deeper hue of blue plus decreasing the white-value of the tree-trunks … thereby allowing you to see the texture, the contrast, and the view I had originally.

I hope you enjoy them now as much as I did shooting them.

Too Much, Too Little

Too Little, Too Late
