Using GIMP to Apply Selective Colouring

I had some fun with one of my many flower photographs taken during a recent visit interstate.

Using GIMP and applying Selective Colouring techniques, I’ve enhanced details within the flower petals and stamen whilst giving the background varying levels of decay and saturation.
