Gimpaholic

It took me less than two hours to learn how to use ‘selective layering‘ with GIMP — last week! Since then I’ve converted a half-dozen of my own photographs into interesting half-b&w, half-colour compositions. One even made it’s way onto the flickr EXPLORE-archives within a day or so — which completely baffles me. I always wonder how that thing works. Must do some research…

This was my second image. The original photograph was taken at Hanson Bay on Kangaroo Island earlier this year. The crab is dead and the hands are from a teenage-girl.

To see more of my GIMP’d photographs, go through my ‘Manipulations Set’. Some are already purchasable through my RedBubble Gallery.
